Get to know Adam

Adam was born and raised in Frankfort. He fondly remembers the days of riding his bike on Old Plank Trail prior to it being paved and always knew that he would want to raise his family in the town he loved so much. Since the day he bought his first home in downtown Frankfort, he knew he wanted to give back to this community. He has done so with enthusiasm with his roles as a committee member, Clerk, and Trustee.

A loving Father and Husband

Adam considers himself a lucky man to have the support of his beautiful family. Adam is happily married to Bridget. They are united in their shared affection for Frankfort, as well as their fervent commitment to community engagement and charitable endeavors through Volunteerism. Adam enjoys supporting Bridget in her many community endeavors, including as president of Frankfort Girls Softball, member of the Suburban Service League, and perennial volunteer of Fall Fest.   

 

Adam & Bridget have 3 wonderful children. Their oldest, Bella, is a sophomore at East. Go Griffins! At 10 years old, Ben holds the coveted title of middle child in the family. Mila, at 8 years old, is the youngest member of the family, infusing their lives with her infectious and unique brand of joy.  Life with their trio of lively and spirited children is a non-stop adventure, filled to the brim with a colorful array of activities such as softball, Key Club, Boy Scouts, Lacrosse, Gymnastics, and whatever else they dream up! â€‹

 

Adam and his family recently renovated their home. As their family grew, their need for a bigger house did as well. They decided to renovate rather than move because they had fallen in love with the community they live, where every day is filled with new adventures and cherished memories. Some lucky people had a chance to see their house on the house walk years ago prior to the renovation and again this past holiday season once the renovation was complete.

A True Professional

A licensed professional engineer in the state of Illinois, Adam has two decades of experience in engineering and construction, including the past 14 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Chicago. Currently, he manages the Chicago District's operations and maintenance program. During his tenure with the Army Corps, Adam has had the opportunity to serve two details in Washington D.C. The first, at headquarters where he ***BIG ACCOMPLISHMETN. He had an opportunity to work for the house of representatives, majority, on the appropriations committee. During this he **WROTE LAW explanation. Adam was also called upon to enlist in a special operation during the onset of COVID.

 

Adam holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.B.A. with concentrations in economics and finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Adam's passion for improving his community extends far beyond his role as a Village Trustee. He actively seeks out opportunities, both grand and modest, to make a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy. 

Adam's tireless dedication to his community is awe-inspiring. From coaching youth sports to volunteering with the Kiwanis Club of Frankfort and donning his yellow volunteer shirt at fall fest, he's a familiar face around town. He is always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it's arriving early to help set up art society events, dropping off water balloons for the SSL 5k, or picking up litter on earth day, Adam is constantly seeking out ways to give back. His unwavering commitment to supporting the many events and fundraisers held in the Village serves as a testament to his selflessness and generosity.

Adam was born and raised in Frankfort. He and his wife, Bridget, reside in downtown Frankfort with their three children, Bella, Ben, and Mila, and their dog, Marty. Shortly after purchasing their current home, Adam volunteered to serve on the Village of Frankfort's Departmental Operations Committee. Adam went to serve as Village Clerk from 2015 until 2019, when he was elected to his current position as Village Trustee.

In addition to his full-time career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and his service with the Village, Adam is involved in various community activities. He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Frankfort, Fall Fest volunteer, and has coached a variety of sports, including baseball. He enjoys supporting Bridget in her many community endeavors, including as president of Frankfort Girls Softball, member of the Suburban Service League, and perennial volunteer of Fall Fest.
